What kind of ingredients do I need to prepare healthy homemade hummus for babies?
Hummus as a bread spread or vegetable dip? Sounds great! You can add chickpeas and tahini to my diet as soon as you start expanding it. Prepare hummus at home because store-bought one will surely contain salt and other unnecessary additives which should not be included in my diet.
Chickpeas are an excellent source of iron and they also contain a moderate amount of vitamin C which helps to absorb iron. Hummus is a source of healthy fats thanks to sesame paste which contains unsaturated fatty acids.
