Month 19 - What can the child do in the 19th month of its life?
The following abilities are considered the most important of the child in the 19th month of its life:
- independent walking; climbing up and down stairs (independent or with assistance);
- running;
- walking backwards;
- climbing a ladder at a playground;
- abstract thinking;
- saying words that can be understood by people around;
- making precise movements;
- throwing a ball from behind the head;
- helping in daily activities;
- striving for autonomy and independence;
- mimicking adults.
