Mommy, I'm like a pear (13cm, 140 grams)

The first fatty tissue begins accumulating under my skin, especially important brown fat, which will be crucial for temperature regulation after birth. It differs from regular fat tissue by being rich in mitochondria and can burn calories to produce heat. My fingerprints are fully formed and unique - no one in the world has the same ones! The vascular system in the skin develops, making skin less transparent. I can now perform regular breathing movements, without air of course, but these exercises are crucial for developing intercostal muscles and the diaphragm.

Remember mom, every child develops at their own pace and has their unique timeline. If you have any doubts about my development in your belly, consult with a doctor.
